Brooklyn construction accident kills one
A fatal construction accident occurred in the Brooklyn area, just near the Atlantic Terminal, Tuesday, October 11.
The 43-year-old construction worker was found by people in the area in the early afternoon, who called emergency crews. The man, Paul Kenedy from the Bronx, was unconscious upon the arrival of the crews, having suffered serious injuries to his head and body. He died shortly after while still at the scene.
The exact cause of his death remains unknown but there is a lead in that the site he was on had a permit to build a construct with 13 floors. The company was asked to stop construction while the investigation took place.
