8 construction workers hurt after a Brooklyn building collapse
Eight construction workers suffered non-life threatening injuries after a rundown building collapsed around 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 26.
According to the city’s Fire Department officials, workers fell to the first floor of 1916 Prospect Place in Brooklyn while doing construction work on the building’s third floor. Some of the injured construction workers were immediately transported to Kings County Hospitals for treatment.
Residents who have witnessed the incident said they have seen the workers walk into the unstable building.
