Construction worker dies from fall in Midtown Manhattan
On Thursday, September 15, a construction worker was killed when he fell from the roof of a Midtown Manhattan condominium building.
The accident happened around 2:30 p.m. and the 52-year-old fell from the 47th story to a second-floor deck and was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim was the owner of the independent subcontractor Crowne Architectural Systems, according to a New Line Structures spokesperson.
No one has been arrested as the investigation continues and the victim’s name has not been released, pending family notification.
